Ilsera 4 raccorder en série avec l’électrode en prenant soin de brancher sa borne -- 4 Vélectrode, et sa borne + 2 labore 8 de l’équipement, La valeur du courant de flamme devra étre d’au moins 10 Microampéres et sa stabilité devra étre bonne. L’arc d’allumage peut perturber ce courant. Seule l’expérience pourra guider dans le choix des positions des électrodes d’allumage par rapport & celle de détection, de méme que dans le choix du transformateur d’allumage (secondaire HT avec ou sans point milieu}. Mais, d'une maniére générale, l’emplacement de I’électrode de détection dans le panache de la flamme doit étre soigneusement déterminé et a une trés grande influence sur la valeur du courant de flamme. Le réglage du brileur a aussi une influence sur ce courant. En effet, le courant de flamme est d’autant meilleur que la surfacede masse en contact avec la base du céne bleu est importante. D’ou l’intérét d’un bon “accrochage” de la flamme au nez du brileur, Enfin l’isolement de l’électrode de détection par rapport a la masse doit étre excellent (plusieurs dizaines de Mégohms),
