About Dungs

Karl Dungs GmbH (est. 1932, Germany) is the reference manufacturer for gas safety and regulation components in European industrial burner design. The full Dungs catalog is available — MultiBloc combined-function assemblies (MB-D, MB-ZR, MB-ZRDLE), individual solenoid valves (MVD, MVDLE, ZR), gas pressure switches (GW, NB, GW/A6), pressure regulators (FRS, FRSBV), and butterfly valves (DMV).

The Dungs product line is known for three qualities that matter to industrial plant owners: IEC-certified safety for commercial and industrial gas applications, tight turn-down on modulating ranges (down to 1:10 on selected models), and a unique combined-function design that collapses 3–5 standalone valves into a single pipe-mounted unit — reducing commissioning labour, leak paths, and rack footprint. These advantages drive Dungs specification on essentially every European-designed burner rack in global service (FBR, Weishaupt, Riello, Cib Unigas).

The highest-volume Dungs MultiBloc sizes (DN20, DN25, DN40, DN50, DN65) plus the matching pressure-switch range are available for prompt supply. Drop-in replacements for the most common installed Dungs models are in stock, and on-site leak testing and certification against the applicable national gas code is available as part of commissioning.

Common Applications

  • Industrial steam boilers — MB-ZRDLE MultiBloc on modulating gas-fired plant
  • Hospital and hotel plant rooms — MB-D series for two-stage commercial burners
  • Food-industry ovens and dryers — DMV butterfly valves on high-turndown modulating lines
  • Petrochemical gas-train skid assemblies — FRS / FRSBV regulators with GW pressure switches
  • Retrofit drop-in replacements for older Dungs MB assemblies on existing Weishaupt / Riello burners

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Dungs from 3G Electric.

Are Dungs gas-valve products available?

Yes. We carry the Karl Dungs GmbH gas-safety portfolio — MultiBloc assemblies, solenoid valves, pressure switches, regulators, and butterfly valves — with full manufacturer warranty.

What Dungs MultiBloc sizes are available?

DN20, DN25, DN40, DN50, and DN65 MultiBloc sizes in MB-D, MB-ZR, and MB-ZRDLE configurations are typically available on shorter lead times. Larger DN80 / DN100 sizes and special configurations have a factory lead time on request.

Can you supply a drop-in replacement for an existing Dungs MultiBloc?

Yes. Share the model code from the nameplate (e.g. "MB-ZRDLE 415 B01 S20") and we'll match the direct replacement plus any required adaptor flanges. Typical turnaround on confirmed spec is 1–2 weeks.

Do you perform on-site gas-train commissioning?

Yes. Our engineers handle leak testing, pressure-switch calibration, and commissioning documentation against the applicable national gas-burner-code requirements.

Are Dungs products approved for use under national gas codes?

Yes. Dungs gas-safety components carry EN 161 / EN 88 / EN 1854 certifications which are accepted under most national gas-burner-code frameworks internationally. We provide matching certificates with each order.

Does 3G Electric supply Dungs products?

Yes — 3G Electric (S) Pte. Ltd. supplies Dungs products. We stock the Dungs catalog and supply genuine factory-original products with full manufacturer warranty and technical support.
