Clean the copper tube ends and fitting cup with emery cloth. Apply flux to both surfaces, then slide the coupling onto the 1-inch tube and the 3/4-inch tube. Heat the fitting evenly with a torch until solder melts into the joint. Allow to cool naturally before pressurizing the system.
