Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Hubbell Gender Reversing Connector used for?
A Hubbell Gender Reversing Connector (male-male) is used to connect two female connectors in high-amperage industrial power systems, enabling quick polarity reversal or extension of 16 Series pin-and-sleeve devices. It is common in manufacturing, data centers, and heavy equipment where 400 A, 600V AC/DC circuits require flexible coupling.
What are the specifications of the Hubbell HBLDMBK Gender Reversing Connector?
The Hubbell HBLDMBK is a male-male gender reversing connector rated for 400 A at 600V AC and 600V DC. It is part of the 16 Series, has a black housing, and is designed for industrial pin-and-sleeve applications. The connector allows reversal of gender without rewiring, simplifying temporary power setups.
