■Introduction
Merci d'avoir acheté le sonomètre de SUPCO.
Veuillez lire attentivement les informations suivantes
avant d'utiliser l'appareil. Le sonomètre a été conçu
pour mesurer le niveau sonore dans divers
environnements. Il est utilisé pour détecter le bruit,
le niveau de musique ou l'ingénierie sonore.
1.1 Precautions
Veuillez utiliser l'instrument dans les conditions
environnementales suivantes :
● Altitude: mois de 2000 m.
● Humidité Relative (HR): 80% max
● Temperature : 0° à 40 °C (32°F à 104℉)
● Si vous n'utilisez pas l'instrument pendant une
longue période, retirez la batterie et évitez de la
stocker à haute température et à forte humidité.

■ Instructions
1. Appuyez sur la touche Marche / Arrêt
pour allumer l'appareil. L'appareil est en en
mode automatique par défaut. AUTO s'affiche sur l'écran
LCD. Le graphique à barres analogique et
l'affichage numérique indiquent la valeur mesurée.
Si le symbole UNDER ou OVER apparaît, cela signifie
que le son mesuré est hors de portée.
2. Pour régler manuellement la portée, appuyez sur le
bouton Auto / Manu. MANUEL sera affiché.

Appuyez sur le haut ou bas pour choisir la bonne
plage. La plage est affichée en haut de l'écran LCD.
3. Auto-extinction
L’appareil est réglé pour l'extinction automatique après
2 minutes d'inactivité. Pour annuler la mise hors
tension automatique, appuyez sur le bouton Bas avec
le bouton ON / OFF tout en mettant l'appareil sous
tension.
■ Touche de fonction :
1. Touche ON / OFF
Appuyez sur la touche pour allumer ou éteindre
l'appareil.
2. Touche AUTO / MANU
Appuyez sur la touche AUTO / MANU pour changer le
mode de mesure automatique ou manuel.
3. Touche UP / DOWN
En mode manuel, appuyez sur le bouton Haut ou
Bas pour choisir la plage appropriée.

d'étalonnage si necessaire.

1. INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
Le lecteur peut être essuyé avec une éponge ou un
chiffon humide à l'aide d'un détergent doux à base
d'eau.
NOTE:
Cette unité n'est pas conçue pour une submersion
complète ou un lavage dans l'eau.
2. REMPLACEMENT DE LA BATTERIE
Utilisez la procédure suivante:
Lorsque la tension de la batterie tombe en dessous
de la plage de fonctionnement appropriée, le
symbole de batterie apparaît sur l'écran LCD et les
piles doivent être remplacées.
∞ Appuyez sur le couvercle de la batterie vers la pointe
de la flèche pour ouvrir le couvercle de la batterie.

∞ ∞ Remplacez la batterie par trois nouvelles piles
AAA (1,5 V).
∞ ∞ Replacez le couvercle de la batterie.

■Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SUPCO sound level
meter. Please read the following information
carefully before using the meter. The Sound Level
Meter has been designed to measure sound level
for various environments. It is used to detect noise,
music level or sound engineering.
1.1 Precautions/ safety measures
Please operate the instrument under the following
environmental conditions.
● Altitude: less than 2000 meters.
● Relative Humidity (RH): 80% max
● Temperature 32℉ to 104℉ (0℃ to 40℃)
Maintaining the product:
When not using the instrument for a long time,
please remove the battery and avoid storing in high
temperature and high humidity.

1. Auto-range mode (30-120dB) is unfit for
measuring instantaneous and impact sound.
2. To measure sound level in a windy environment,
use a windscreen on the microphone to avoid
noise from wind.
1.1.2 Maintaining the product
l Do not measure in a high temperature, high
humidity locations.
l When not using the instrument for a long time,
please remove the battery and avoid storing in
high temperature and high humidity.

■ Operating Instructions
1. Press the On/Off key to turn the unit on. The meter
defaults in auto-range mode. AUTO displays on
the LCD. The Analog bar graph and digital
display indicate the measured value.
If the UNDER or OVER symbol appears, it
means that the measured sound is out of range.
2. To set range manually, press the Auto/Manu button.
MANUAL will be displayed. Press the Up or

buttons to choose the proper range. The range is
displayed at the top of the LCD.
3. Auto-Power off
The meter factory set for auto-power off after 2
minutes of inactivity. To cancel auto-power off,
press the Down button along with the ON/OFF
button while turning unit on.
■ Function Keys:
1. ON/OFF key
Press the key to turn the power ON or OFF..
2. AUTO/MANU key
Press AUTO/MANU key to shift auto or manual
measurement mode.
3. UP/ Down key
In Manual Range mode, press the Up or Down
button to choose the proper range.

■ Calibration
Please contact SUPCO for calibration information,
if necessary.
■. Maintenance
1. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The meter may be wiped down with a wet sponge or
cloth using a mild, water based detergent.
NOTE:
This unit is not designed for complete submersion or
washing in water.
2. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Use the following procedure:
When the battery voltage drops below proper
operation range the symbol will appear on the
LCD display and the battery needs to be replaced.
∞ Press the battery cover towards the arrowhead to
open the battery cover.

∞ Replace the battery with three new AAA (1.5V)
batteries.
∞ Replace the battery cover.

furnish without charge a similar product to replace any
product which, within the specified warranty term after the
date of sale by the Wholesaler, is proved to the satisfaction
of Sealed Unit Parts Co., Inc. , to have been defective at
the time it was sold. Said warranty is in effect only when
said item is used in accordance with the instructions and
recommendations of Sealed Unit Parts Co., Inc.
This warranty applies only to products which after
shipment from the factory, have not been altered, changed,
repaired, or treated in any manner whatsoever.
This warranty to repair or replace is the only warranty
