Frequently Asked Questions
What is a CANTEX expansion conduit coupling used for?
A CANTEX expansion conduit coupling compensates for thermal expansion and contraction in PVC conduit systems, preventing stress damage. It is commonly used in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure electrical installations where temperature changes cause conduit movement.
What are the specifications of the CANTEX 5144036 expansion coupling?
The CANTEX 5144036 is a 2 in trade size PVC expansion conduit coupling. It is made from PVC for corrosion resistance and durability. The manufacturer part number is 5144036. This coupling is designed to handle thermal movement in conduit runs.
Where to buy CANTEX expansion conduit couplings worldwide?
3G Electric supplies CANTEX expansion conduit couplings worldwide. As a global industrial solutions provider, we handle full logistics, customs clearance, and delivery to your site. Contact us for pricing and lead time on the 2 in PVC coupling (MPN 5144036).
How to install a CANTEX PVC expansion coupling?
Install the CANTEX expansion coupling by following standard PVC conduit practices: clean the pipe ends, apply PVC cement, and insert into the coupling body. Allow the joint to expand and contract freely. Always consult the manufacturer's instructions for proper thermal gap settings.
